I dont get it. This toturial does not show exactly how its done. What is sewed together and what are those pictures for? Is it the pocket? There is no explanations. ive been looking to it all daym but cant figure it out. Can you explain it pls. Thanks
The first drawing is where needs to be sewn You need two of them Next drawing shows where the handles have to be You need two pieces of the first drawing and the dots on it shows the two sides of the bag there bottom of the drawing is the bottom of the bag it's easy once you have it with the fabric
"Pilares du tissue" is the fold line of the fabric. Afetar sewing the indicated lateral seams you open the piece and sew orthogonal to the previous seams (the seams will form a T on each side of the piece). Basically the fabric will turn out in a kind of box. Try it with a small piece of fabric. I think two pockets are being suggested: one in the inside and one outside of the bag.
Could you please write an explanation of what to sew with what? It's impossible to understand how to make the bag from these photos only. And it looks so nice and easy to make!!
There should be a review board for this type of pattern to make certain the directions are complete. The authoress assumed we sewers would understand from the pictures alone. The bag is very attractive and I'm going to give it my best attempt. Further dimensions and instructions would be greatly appreciated.
Attractive bag. I would use linen in place of leather. But how is it made? Dimensions + more precise instructions would be needed if the artist wants us to duplicate the design. Presenting the concept is inspiring but discouraging as well. Was this done on purpose to keep us from duplicating the bag? Like artistic jealousy? Editors should have opted for a better tutorial.
It's the bottom part I really wish the author had spent more time on explaining. I suppose it is to be boxed out, but as simple as they say that is..isn't always so. Oh and those handles(that isn't so easy unless you got special tools), I'd just as soon to make it a drawstring at the top since I don't have any fake leather around.
Think about it for a minute...it's 2 pieces being sewn together. If that doesn't clear up any confusion...make a simpler project instead. And the dimensions are there so quit asking for them. Just cos you can't figure it out is not an excuse to be abusive.

And where do the seams go? Is there a lining inside the bag? where does it fit?
