STUFFING
sew front and back together at ears leaving gap in middle for stuffing sew body sides together up and over tail and up back stopping short to leave a wider neck opening for stuffing Turn pieces right side out. I’m not going to lie to you, Pointy Kitty is a bear to turn out.
Be careful not to split seams open while turning out those narrow apendages. Use the eraser end of a pencil to push legs, ears and tail mostly through and then a pin to pull through the edges. Stuff carefully. First the pointy bits and then the rest. For best standing-up-on-its-own results stuff firmly.
ATTACH
After stuffing stitch together bit of neck that was left open. Pin stuffed head to stuffed body at whatever jaunty angle you like and blindstitch in place.
FINISHING
Cut the head and body stripes, eyes and nose out of felt. Pin into position and sew down with blanket stitch using thread or embroidery floss. Sew on button eyes and embroider whiskers. You’re done!
