Nature Explorer Bag Pattern & Tutorial

This bag is kid‐tested and approved by the numerous kids in my life I gave them to on a camping trip‐‐the bags were in heavy use the entire trip. Its easy fold‐over top gives kids quick access to whatever is inside.

Supplies:

1⁄2 yard Bag exterior fabric (linen blend, canvas, cotton twill)
1⁄2 yard Bag lining fabric in a contrasting plaid (homespun or madras)
1‐inch D‐ring
1‐inch‐wide woven cotton
48‐inches woven cotton strapping that coordinates with the lining
Single fold 1⁄2‐inch wide bias tape, matching the cotton strapping
Thread to match
