The flower in the center of this quilting pattern is called a wyvern, and it falls under the category of origami quilting, so here's how to make it!
Length of square fabric needed = length of finished piece x 2 + 2 seam allowances
Steps
1. Fold the cut square in half, and sew the two sides together by the center half, this half is the half of the remaining length after removing the seam allowance, e.g., the length of the cut square is 17.2 cm, after folding it is 8.6 cm, after removing 0.6 cm of the seam allowance, the actual length of the seam allowance will be 4 cm.
2. Fold in the other direction, the other two edges also do the same sewing, after the completion of each sewing end of the sewing portion of the vertical cut a notch, to facilitate the back of the folding →
3. Turn the 4 corners over to the front, and you will see what you see in the picture below, which shows the front and back sides respectively. Next, find the center point and the midpoint of the 4 edges on the front side, and connect these 5 points together with a hand sewing needle, and the Willow Flower will be shaped.
4. Hand sewing needles are inserted at the back of the center point, taking care not to sew the bottom layer in during the sewing process.
5. After the needle is threaded to the front, sew the center points of the 4 edges and the center point together to form 4 vertical petals.
6. 4 pieces of petals like turning the collar backward folded and organized into shape, Wellington quilted flower is ready, and other pieces of cloth when pieced together, be careful not to sew the petals into →
